Daiva Čepauskaitė’s play The Beans (Pupos) is a touching, humane and humoristic story about the relationship of an elderly couple. The couple is trapped in a self-made basement lift, with no escape from the sticky situation. The fear of approaching death is mixed with warm but contradictory memories of their common past.
