TRANSLATOR – A BRIDGE BUILDER BETWEEN TWO CULTURES

The Translators’ Roundtable will start with a presentation by Jukka-Pekka Pajunen, a drama translator and member of the Artistic Team of Tampere Theatre Festival. Pajunen will be addressing such questions as: Are culture-bound features a constraint in translation, or just a challenge?
One of the guests is Norwegian playwright Finn Iunker, whose play, Iphigenia, will be staged at the festival the same night in KokoTeatteri. After the show, the playwright will be sharing insights on his work.
