Theatre Doc´s intensive and simplified September.Doc is a play which has been strictly condemned by the political elite of Russia. The play is based on the texts and documentary materials written about Beslan´s school tragedy in the internet chat-rooms. The play is dealing with sensitive issues honestly, and has been praised by international press. The premiere was 24th June 2005.

Teatr.Doc has been founded by the playwright Elena Gremina and director Mihail Ugarov in one of the Moscow cellars in 2002, as an open stage for emerging socially oriented theatre. It has hosted productions by the stars of contemporary Russian theatre and by unknown students, stand-up comedy evenings, discussion clubs, documentary film festivals and drama and poetry readings. Most of the plays that are staged in Teatr.doc are written in documentary technique that is based on interviews with real life texts. Teatr.doc has become a cult stage in Moscow, which reacts to the events in society almost with a speed of a news channel, and that speaks the same language and lives by the same rules as its audience.
