A lonely cry from the depths of a troubled soul, a piece of shameless narcissism, the possible birth of a new religion, another doomed attempt to make art relevant again, a failed stand-up comedy, a last warning to the public
REMEMBER ME is all, or some, of the above.
In this very personal one-man crusade, the street activist and preacher Nabi aims to burn all bridges to his past, say goodbye to the arts and catapult himself into the future with a final settling of scores with all of society's forces of mediocrity and stagnation that have been blocking his - and yours - way to true happiness and fulfillment until today. The perfromance is based on Nabi’s (formerly known as Joaquin NaBi Olsson) own diaries and travels to his native Korea and USA.
REMEMBER ME is directed by Norwegian director/actor Morten Traavik, who is also exhibiting his ongoing Miss Landmine 2008 project during the Baltic Circle. Traavik has directed and performed numerous projects in the Nordic countries, Russia and in the Baltic region, both in mainstream theatres and experimental companies.
