EMMENTHAL SOCAPEX is a group or collective of seven artists working in several different fields of performing arts. They are composers, musicians, sound designers, set designers, lighting designers, DJs, VJs; they are manipulators of sound, vision and space. ES was founded in 1994, but was put on hold during the end of the 90's due to each members' other projects. They regrouped in 2008. Their performances or concerts, often based on improvisation, are trance-like audiovisual snapshots of a certain moment in time.
