Time Regained is a deliciously ironic and devilish account about an aging man, dedicated to aesthetic experiences and high society, beginning his career as a writer. The main character Marcel's mistress has vanished. What has happened to her? Has she died? Set in Paris during the First World War, Marcel travels through time and his memories looking for himself and the underlying meaning behind his experiences. What makes life valuable, and how do we love?
Q-teatteri, which was awarded for Theatre of the Year in 2005, was founded in March 1990 by freelance actors. The aim of the group is to create new ways and conditions to make independent, original, and experimental theatre, and to develop different rehearsing methods. At the moment there are 50 freelance members in the company, which could also be called a production unit. Q-teatteri has become one of the most significant theatre companies in Finland.
