About Q
Q-teatteri is a Helsinki-based theatre company founded by a group of freelance actors in 1990. Since then, it has become a household name in the Finnish theatre scene.
All performances in spring 2026 will be subtitled in English and Finnish!
Our mission is to be a safe haven for contemporary theatre — constantly pushing the boundaries of modern drama. We strive to create performances that would be impossible to create anywhere else. We stage only one production at a time, allowing us to be as artistically and technically ambitious as possible.

Accessibility
There is a wheelchair lift on the stairs in the Main Stage lobby.
An accessible restroom is located in the lower lobby of the Main Stage.
There is space for one wheelchair in the Main Stage seating area, which can be reserved through Q’s own ticket office. An accessible restroom is located in the lower lobby. Access to the lower lobby is via the wheelchair lift.
VENUES
Main stage seating area: 200-220 seats, rising auditorium, numbered seats. seatin map (pdf) Puoli-Q stage: ca. 40 seats, depending on production, unnumbered seats.
The Main Stage bar/café is open on performance evenings one hour before the show and during the interval.
